There is something about the idea of a journey that never fails to draw us in, and Cheryl Strayed’s memoir “Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail” (Alfred A. Knopf, 2012) is a textbook example. Of course, Cheryl Strayed was not the first – or the last – person who embarked on a journey of discovery.
