The Columbia Public Library will be closed Sunday, April 20 for Easter.
Columbia Renovation Update:
The third floor reading room is closed. Concrete work is taking place on the north entrance plaza, but the north entrance is still accessible via a temporary walkway.
What can you say about yourself in just six words? This little writing challenge can be easy or tricky, depending on how you think about it. Since kids and adults compete head-on, it’s fun for all ages, so get your family and friends to submit entries, too. Submit your six-word memoir online or enter while you're at the library. Garden gnomes want to see the world, too! Drop in to decorate your own gnome on June 22. If you can’t make it to our gnome-making program, you can still make a gnome to take along with you to wherever you are going this summer. Simply snap a photo of you and your gnome and send us a copy. Then we'll display them at the Columbia Public Library during the month of July. Read more »
