Memory Keepers Leave Legacies
Columbia Public Library, Friends Room

Local author Marsha Knudsen wove together the war-time letters, diaries, telegrams, greeting cards and photographs discovered in an old family trunk to tell the story of her parents' World War II journey. She'll talk about the writing of the book "Sailor's Mail S.W.A.K." and how to find information on a veteran's military service, safeguard photographs and letters, capture oral histories and leave a legacy for future generations. Copies will be available for purchase and signing.
