Center Aisle Cinema: "Art and Craft"
Columbia Public Library, Friends Room

Mark Landis is one of the most prolific art forgers of the modern era — and he isn’t in it for the money. In the last 30 years, he’s copied hundreds of pieces, from 15th-century icons to works by Picasso and even Dr. Seuss, then offered to donate them to unsuspecting museums across the country. This documentary directed by Sam Cullman, Jennifer Grausman and Mark Becker was an Official Selection of the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival. Shown in collaboration with POV, PBS’ award-winning nonfiction film series (www.pbs.org/pov). Watch the trailer at films.dbrl.org. Adults and teens.
