Enjoy songs, fingerplays, flannelboards and big books just right for the just-walking set. Parental participation is a must. Parents and babies younger than 24 months walking on their own.
Enjoy stories, sing songs and do activities. Parents and 2-year-olds.
To celebrate the end our Harry Potter exhibit, learn about owl behaviors, abilities and survival with bird expert Yvonne Patterson of the nonprofit Wings of Love. Meet Swoop, an eagle-owl (the largest owl species in the world), and Talon, a spectacled owl (the largest rainforest owl in the Americas). Families.
Reading aloud to preschoolers improves their reading comprehension and vocabulary. Trained members of the Jumpstart Corps from the University of Missouri will read with small groups of children and parents in four 15-minute sessions, so you can drop by any time. Different books will be shared each session, and you may attend more than one if space allows. Ages 3-5 and parents.
Bring your little one for some quality parent/child time. Meet other parents and children, read to your child and get ideas for activities you can do at home to develop learning skills. Because this program is very popular, we ask you to please plan on dropping in for 30 minutes. Ages birth-4.
Join us for songs, stories and activities for parents and kids. Ages 24-36 months. Families welcome, too.
