The Friends hold sales in the library lobby every Wednesday noon-3 p.m. and every Saturday 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. All proceeds support library services.

Blogging Made Simple

Interact with family, friends and the world at large by creating a blog. Learn about popular blogging platforms such as WordPress and Blogger, and make your voice known to your community or to anyone on the Internet. To get started with Blogger, an active Gmail account is required. Registration begins Wednesday, December 30.

Circuit Science

Use Snap Circuits, a hands-on electronics learning kit, to discover the basics of electrical circuits. This session, we'll make a touch light, a musical motion detector and more. Ages 8 and older.

Digital Playground: Colors

This program series sparks children's creativity using technology and exploratory play. This month, enjoy digital painting with the apps "Peppa’s Paintbox" and "Color Mix (HD)" for iPad, then create your own personal masterpiece with real watercolors. Ages 3-5 with a parent.

Center Aisle Cinema: "Wonder Women!"

This documentary by Kristy Guevara-Flanagan looks at female superheroes, warrior princesses and other icons of women's empowerment in pop culture. Exploring our nation’s long-term love affair with comic book superheroes, the film raises questions about the possibilities and contradictions of heroines within the genre.
