Enjoy stories, songs, fingerplays, flannelboards and big books. Parental participation is a must. Kids up to age 2 1/2 (30 mos.) walking confidently on their own.

On board, you'll find books, music, DVDs and other services for all ages. You can browse several thousand titles or pick up items you've requested online or over the phone.

Exploring iCloud
Columbia Public Library, Studio

We will explain the basics of cloud computing while helping you determine which features of Apple's iCloud work best for your iPhone, iPad and/or Mac. This class is for intermediate and advanced technology users. It is highly recommended that students take "iPhone and iPad Basics" before registering for this class. Please bring your device and your Apple ID. Registration begins Monday, December 28.

Drop-in Internet and Computer Assistance
Columbia Public Library, Training Center

During these unstructured sessions, use library computers to apply for a job, write a résumé, set up an email account, get help navigating the Internet, study for a test with "Learning Express Library" or sharpen your computer skills with our excellent self-guided tutorials. Choose from Keyboarding, Mouse Tutorial, Basic Skills, Computer Basics, Files and Folders, Exploring the Web, Word Processing, Spreadsheets and Presentations. For the tutorials, please bring headphones or purchase a set at the library.

Felt Animals
Columbia Public Library, Children's Program Room

Make your own stuffed animal using felt, glue, needle and thread. We will learn how to make a pattern and sew a straight seam to create a stuffed creature, real or imagined. Ages 7 and older with an adult. Registration begins Tuesday, January 5.
