The Friends hold sales in the library lobby every Wednesday noon-3 p.m. and every Saturday 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. All proceeds support library services.

On board, you'll find books, music, DVDs and other services for all ages. You can browse several thousand titles or pick up items you've requested online or over the phone.

Dive into the fantastic worlds of the popular Ology book series. Come test your knowledge of Spyology, Monsterology, Oceanology, Dinosaurology, Wizardology and Pirateology! Choose from fun activities and craft projects based on your favorite “ology.” Ages 8-12. Registration begins Tuesday, January 5.

Basic Mac Skills
Columbia Public Library, Studio

Learn the basics of the Mac operating system for desktop and laptop users. We'll talk about the essentials of using your MacBook, iMac or Mac mini including Apple's software for Internet browsing, email, music, photos, etc., and how to customize your computer to your needs. There will also be time to answer questions. Bringing your Mac laptop is optional. Registration begins Wednesday, January 6.
