The Friends hold sales in the library lobby every Wednesday noon-3 p.m. and every Saturday 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. All proceeds support library services.

Health Insurance Marketplace Open Enrollment
Columbia Public Library, Training Center

Every Saturday through January 28, trained staff from one of four local community agencies will help you review plans, choose one that meets your needs and assist you with enrollment. Participating agencies include the Central Missouri Area Agency on Aging, Central Missouri Community Action, Family Health Center and Primaris/KMA. Walk-ins welcome.

Genealogical Research Using
Columbia Public Library, Friends Room

Genealogist and library staff member Tim Dollens will teach you how to use, Library Edition, an online genealogy tool available for free at the library. He'll discuss federal population schedules, immigration and military records, the Social Security Death Index and more, and show you how to print these documents.

Saturday Special Book Sale
Southern Boone County Public Library

The Friends of the Southern Boone County Public Library will hold a book sale on the second and fourth Saturday of each month. Get a free book bag (while supplies last), and fill it with as many books as it will hold for $5 per bag.
