As part of Ashland's city-wide holiday festivities, the library will feature drop-in holiday crafts for all ages.
The Friends hold sales in the library lobby every Wednesday noon-3 p.m. and every Saturday 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. All proceeds support library services.
Every Saturday, November 15 through February 14, trained staff from one of four local community agencies will help you review plans, choose one that meets your needs and assist you with enrollment. Participating agencies are the Central Missouri Area Agency on Aging, Central Missouri Community Action, Family Health Center and Primaris/KMA. Walk-ins welcome.

Find the perfect book for everyone on your gift list at this sale, from beautiful gift and children's books to fiction and nonfiction titles. These gently-used editions will be available at very reasonable prices, with proceeds benefiting the library.
See how Columbia has changed over the last six decades. We'll show a film from 1954 and share photographs, music and other memorabilia from the time period. Refreshments will be served.
At this workshop, children play games, sing, dance and act out books. Presented by TRYPS, Columbia's professional theater group for young audiences. Ages 3-8.
Craft an ornament from a design created by the Ashland Artist Group. Members will be on hand to demonstrate the steps as you create your own keepsake. Space is limited. Teens and adults. Registration begins Monday, November 24.
