Come by the library and browse hundreds of used books. Hardbacks are $1 and paperbacks are only 50¢! Library book bags will also be on sale for $3.50. All proceeds benefit library programs and services. You can donate your gently-used books at the library anytime during regular business hours.
As part of the city-wide holiday festivities, the library will feature drop-in holiday craft activities for all ages.
The Friends hold sales in the library lobby every Wednesday noon-3 p.m. and every Saturday 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. All proceeds support library services.

The Friends of the Southern Boone County Public Library will be selling gift and coffee table books. All proceeds go to support library services. You can also shop for used books anytime the library is open at the Friends' new book cart display.
Author Carolyn Mulford explains how to draw on personal history to reveal the truth without reporting facts. This journalist and novelist used memories and research to write "The Feedsack Dress," chosen by the Missouri Center for the Book as the state's Great Read at the 2009 National Book Festival, as well as her most recent book "Show Me the Murder." Registration begins Tuesday, November 19.
At this theater workshop, children play games, sing, dance and act out books. Presented by TRYPS, Columbia's professional theater group for young audiences. Ages 3-12.
