Missouri Building Block Story Time

The Missouri Building Block Picture Book Award, administered by the Missouri Library Association, is presented annually to the author and illustrator of the picture book voted the best by preschoolers in Missouri's public libraries. We'll read some of the nominees for this year's award and kids can vote for their favorite. Ages 2-5.

Friends of the Columbia Public Library Lobby Book Sale

The Friends hold sales in the library lobby every Wednesday noon-3 p.m. and every Saturday 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. All proceeds support library services.

On board, you'll find books, music, DVDs and other services for all ages. You can browse several thousand titles or pick up items you've requested online or over the phone.

Google Docs Demystified
Columbia Public Library, Training Center

If you need to work on a project with several different people or access your documents from multiple computers or devices, then Google Docs may be of help to you. This free web-based alternative to Microsoft Office is an easy way to share and collaborate via the Internet. A basic understanding of the Internet and a Gmail account are required. Registration begins Monday, November 23.

Drop-in Apple Help
Columbia Public Library, Studio

Stop by with questions about using your Apple computer, iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. Staff can answer your questions with our equipment, or you may bring your laptop or device.
