AARP Free Tax Aide

AARP volunteers offer free, confidential help with income taxes and Missouri Property Tax Credits to people with middle to low incomes, giving special attention to those aged 60 and older.

First Wednesday Book Discussion

Bring your lunch and join us for a discussion of "At Home in Mitford" by Jan Karon. This is the first book in a series that introduces us to Father Tim, an Episcopalian rector who lives in a North Carolina town full of quirky characters. Readers get a rich, provincial comedy in which mysteries and miracles abound.

First Wednesday Book Sale
Columbia Public Library, Friends Room

This special two-day sale features books on history and current events. First Wednesday sales offer some of the very best books that have been donated to the Friends. The Friends also conduct sales every Wednesday in the library lobby noon-3 p.m, and every Saturday 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. All proceeds go to support library services.

Downloading Made Easy

Learn how to download audio files, photos, software and updates for your Windows computer without exposing it to harmful viruses, adware or spyware. Bring a USB flash drive for saving files. Knowledge of working with Windows files and folders is helpful. Registration begins Wednesday, February 18.

Movie Maker

Learn how to create your own movie using Windows Movie Maker. We'll go over how to make a movie and use transitions, sounds and special effects. Please bring a small collection of digital videos and/or images to work with. Adults. Registration begins Wednesday, February 18.
