Learn at your own pace with these self-guided tutorials on the Windows operating system for beginners and intermediate users. An instructor will be present to get you started and answer questions. Choose from Keyboarding, Mouse Tutorial, Basic Skills, Computer Basics, Files and Folders, Exploring the Web, Basic or Intermediate Word Processing, Spreadsheets and Presentations. Please bring headphones or purchase a set at the library.
Enjoy stories, songs, fingerplays, flannelboards and big books. Parental participation is a must. Kids up to age 2 1/2 (30 mos.) walking confidently on their own.
Ashland Out Loud is a community event highlighting local businesses. Drop by the library to learn how to take advantage of the digital business resources.
On board, you'll find a full array of library materials and services for all ages. You can browse several thousand titles or pick up materials you've requested online or over the phone.
During these unstructured sessions, use library computers to apply for a job, write a résumé, set up an email account, get help navigating the Internet, study for a test with "Learning Express Library" or sharpen your computer skills with our excellent self-guided tutorials. In honor of the Week of the Young Child, drop by the library to celebrate with activities based on the book "Bats at the Library" by Brian Lies. Families with ages 2 and older.
