The genealogy database HeritageQuest has been redesigned and now includes complete U.S. census data from 1930 and 1940, U.S. city directories and other new content. Join genealogist and staff member Tim Dollens to tour this improved tool, which is available free to library cardholders through www.dbrl.org.
The Friends hold sales in the library lobby every Wednesday noon-3 p.m. and every Saturday 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. All proceeds support library services.
Genealogist and staff member Tim Dollens will teach you how to use Ancestry.com, Library Edition, an online tool available for free at the library. He'll discuss federal population schedules, immigration and military records, the Social Security Death Index and more, and he'll show you how to print these documents.
Everyone in the family can help make smoothies, and they are a cool, nutritious summer treat. We'll show you how to make them and give you recipes to try at home. Presented by registered dietitians and students from the Central Missouri Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Ages 3-9 with an adult. Registration begins Tuesday, June 2.
