Ready to test your smarts and skills by completing silly tasks? Then join us to try your luck with "Minute to Win It" games. You and your team will have 60 seconds to complete a series of comical challenges using ordinary household items. Morning session: ages 5-8. Afternoon: ages 8-12. Registration begins Tuesday, July 5.
Drop in to relax. Color in our grown-up coloring books, or create a mandala on shrinking plastic and turn it into a piece of jewelry. Pizza, smoothies and craft supplies provided. Ages 12-18.
On board, you'll find books, music, DVDs and other services for all ages. You can browse several thousand titles or pick up items you've requested online or over the phone.
During these unstructured sessions, use library computers to apply for a job, write a résumé, set up an email account, get help navigating the internet, study for a test with "Learning Express Library" or sharpen your computer skills with our excellent self-guided tutorials. Choose from Keyboarding, Mouse Tutorial, Basic Skills, Computer Basics, Files and Folders, Exploring the Web, Word Processing, Spreadsheets and Presentations. For the tutorials, please bring headphones or purchase a set at the library.

At this special after-hours event, you'll connect with other readers as you go on "speed dates" with various books. Your next favorite read might surprise you! We'll have food and door prizes.
