Drop-in Internet and Computer Assistance
Columbia Public Library, Training Center

During these unstructured sessions, use library computers to apply for a job, write a résumé, set up an email account, get help navigating the internet, study for a test with "Learning Express Library" or sharpen your computer skills with our excellent self-guided tutorials. Choose from Keyboarding, Mouse Tutorial, Basic Skills, Computer Basics, Files and Folders, Exploring the Web, Word Processing, Spreadsheets and Presentations. For the tutorials, please bring headphones or purchase a set at the library.

Library Activities at Food 4 Kids Lunch Program
Columbia, Fire Station #1, 5910 E St Charles Rd.

Through August 12, the Food Bank serves free lunches to children ages 18 and younger at several locations in Columbia. Today, the library will be sharing activities during lunch at Fire Station #1. For more information about the program and other locations visit Age 18 and younger.

On board, you'll find books, music, DVDs and library services for all ages. You can browse several thousand titles or pick up items you've requested online or over the phone. Please note the day change from Thursday to the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.

Enjoy songs, rhymes, big books and flannelboards. Babies and toddlers up to age 2 1/2 (30 mos.) with a parent.

iMovie for Mac
Columbia Public Library, Studio

We will review video editing with iMovie and storytelling techniques. This class is for intermediate and advanced technology users. Please bring your MacBook and a small collection of digital videos and/or images to work with. Attendees will qualify for further hands-on instruction. Registration begins Tuesday, July 12.
