Learn at your own pace with these self-guided tutorials on the Windows operating system for beginners and intermediate users. An instructor will get you started and answer questions. Choose from Keyboarding, Mouse Tutorial, Basic Skills, Computer Basics, Files and Folders, Exploring the Web, Basic or Intermediate Word Processing, Spreadsheets and Presentations. Please bring headphones or purchase a set at the library.
Playing with blocks develops a child’s math, language, social and science skills, as well as being lots of fun! Come to our block party to build, talk, explore and create together. Families, ages 2-6.
On board, you'll find books, music, DVDs and other services for all ages. You can browse several thousand titles or pick up items you've requested online or over the phone.
We'll help you set up a Facebook profile and show you how to use features like posting photos, making notes and sharing news with others while maintaining your personal security. A basic understanding of the Internet and an email account are required. If you already use Facebook, know your log-in information. Registration begins Thursday, August 6.
Come by the library and browse a large selection of used books. Hardbacks are $1. Paperbacks are only 50 cents! All proceeds benefit library programs and services. Donate your gently used books at the library anytime during regular business hours.
This new program series sparks children's creativity using technology and exploratory play. In August, enjoy digital painting with the apps "Peppa’s Paintbox" and "Color Mix (HD)" for iPad, then create your own personal masterpiece with real watercolors. Ages 4-6 with a parent. Registration begins Tuesday, August 4.
