Poetry Out Loud Competition

Area high school students will be competing for a spot in the Missouri state championship at this poetry recitation competition. Missouri's winner progresses to the national Poetry Out Loud championship held in Washington, D.C. Come observe and encourage the students as they perform their poems. This program of the National Endowment for the Arts and the Poetry Foundation is coordinated locally by the City of Columbia Office of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the Missouri Arts Council.
