Duties and Responsibilities:

Administer and direct the operations of the Regional Technical Services Department, which includes the Technical Services and the Collection Management Departments, within the scope of the Daniel Boone Regional Library (DBRL) system. Serve as the SIRSI System/Bibliocommons Administrator. Collect, analyze, manipulate and provide interpretation of data and reports. Serve as a member of DBRL’s management team and participate in the strategic planning process. This individual must be exceedingly well organized, flexible, and enjoy the administrative challenges of working with an outstanding group of diverse people and projects. Work is performed with considerable independent judgment and initiative.

Education and Experience:

MLS from an accredited institution; minimum three years increasingly responsible library experience including leadership of library services and staff. Prefer five years experience in a public library with staff supervisory experience, ILS administration experience, advanced computer literacy, collection development, project management experience, and cataloging experience using bibliographic utilities interfaced with an ILS. Awareness of trends in library technology and user experience.

$56,881.27 annually - salary commensurate with applicant's education and experience
