Join us to discuss "H Is for Hawk" by Helen MacDonald. In the throes of grief after the sudden death of her father, the author, a naturalist and falconer, decided to try to train a goshawk, the wildest sort of hawk, for the first time. Part memoir, part natural history and part biography of author T.H. White whose classic guide to falconry "The Goshawk" she examines closely, MacDonald's book describes how the endeavor tested her limits and changed her life.
