Explore ways to use words and images to address traumatic issues so they won’t control you. Based on his latest book "Facing the Sky: Composing Through Trauma in Word and Image" Dr. Roy F. Fox, professor emeritus at the University of Missouri and a recent Fulbright Scholar to Ireland, will provide guidelines for writing and responding to such texts, as well as examples from his research. Bring your own writing materials or a laptop. Fox’s book will be available for purchase and signing.
