Rock out to the music of this award-winning artist as we kick off Summer Reading. A former preschool music teacher by day and indie rocker by night, Laurie Berkner started marketing her music 21 years ago from her living room. Now she is widely recognized as a pioneer of the “kindie” music genre and was crowned “the undisputed queen of kindie rock” by USA Today. Laurie has released 12 bestselling, award-winning albums and has appeared on several television programs. This special Laurie Berkner performance is partially funded by the “Melissa Carr Literacy Through the Arts Fund” established by the DBRL Foundation. For ADA accommodations, call Missouri Theatre at (573) 882-3781. For other concert questions, or if you have tickets you would like to return, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
