The Osage Nation: A Brief History

Learn more about the people affected by the history in our One Read book, "Killers of the Flower Moon." Sarah O’Donnell of the Osage Nation Historic Preservation Office will trace the Osage from their earliest known existence to their removal into Oklahoma. The mission of the Osage Nation Historic Preservation Office is to preserve the culture and history of the Osage Nation and to share that knowledge with the Osage people. Sarah is an archaeologist specializing in prehistoric North American ceramics.
