Walter Bargen, the first Missouri poet laureate and award-winning author of 20 books of poetry, will talk about and read from his latest book "My Other Mother’s Red Mercedes." In this collection, he presents a moral vision that cherishes our fates through the lens of his mother’s real life and explores the experiential and dramatic specifics of those living with dementia. Copies of this book and others will be available for purchase and signing.
