A hundred years ago, the U.S. Congress passed the 19th Amendment. Missouri was the 11th state to ratify it in July 1919. But it took more than 70 years to get to that momentous occasion. Join us for a screening of the PBS documentary “One Woman, One Vote,” a sweeping look at the women’s suffrage movement, from Elizabeth Cady Stanton’s famous Seneca Falls call to arms to the passage and ratification of the 19th Amendment. Co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Columbia-Boone County.
Adults & teens.
Registration: Not required.
