Make It Snappy: Snap Circuits at the Library

Are your kids interested in learning how electronics work? Do they like to build exciting projects? If so, Circuit Science could be the perfect program! During the Circuit Science program, kids will have the opportunity to construct five different circuit projects using Snap Circuits. Snap Circuits are mounted on plastic modules and snap together easily, helping children discover the basics of electrical circuits with ease. Those attending the program will be provided with a colorful manual with pictures explaining how to build the projects, and of course our children’s staff will be around to help if they need some guidance. There are Circuit Science programs being hosted at the Columbia, Callaway County, and Southern Boone County libraries. Here are some times and dates of the upcoming Circuit Science programs:

Snap Circuit Sample

Monday, September 28 › 1-2 p.m.
Columbia Public Library, Studio
Ages 8-12. Registration begins Tuesday, September 15.

Saturday, October 3 › 3-4 p.m.
Columbia Public Library, Studio
Ages 8-12. Registration begins Tuesday, September 22.

Monday, October 12 › 2-3 p.m.
Callaway County Public Library
Ages 8-14. No registration necessary.

Tuesday, November 24 › 3:30-5:30 p.m.
Southern Boone County Public Library
Ages 8-14. No registration necessary.
