Library News: March 2009

Columbia Public Library Adds 15 Internet Computers

The Columbia Public Library has just added 15 new computers with Internet
access. This brings the total number of public computers at the Columbia
library to 50. You can use library computers to access the Internet or use
basic software like Microsoft Office for up to one hour per day. Wireless
access is also available for free at all three of our libraries.


Book Sales in Columbia and Fulton

Friends of the Columbia Public Library Spring Book Sale
Saturday, March 14, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Sunday, March 15, 1-5 p.m.
Come and peruse scores of gently-used books at this great sale. Hardbacks
are $1 and paperbacks are 50 cents. There will also be audiobooks, records,
CDs, DVDs and special finds priced as marked. All proceeds go to support
library services.

Early Bird Sale for Friends Members
Friday, March 27, 5-7:30 p.m.
This is a pre-sale book sale for current members of the Friends of the
Callaway County Public Library. Not a member? No problem, you can join at
the door.

Public Sale
Saturday, March 28, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Come by the library and buy a good book at a great price! All proceeds
benefit library programs and services. In preparation for the sale, we will
be accepting donations of gently used books at the library anytime during
our regular business hours.
