This afternoon, the past comes alive as Bobby performs historical stories about Henry "Box" Brown, Harriet Tubman and Harriet Beecher Stowe in theatrical style. Revisit March 26, 1849, when Henry Brown was transported from Richmond, Virginia, to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in a 2x3x6-foot wooden box built by a white abolitionist. He later became an orator under the name Henry “Box” Brown and attempted to earn enough money to buy his wife and children out of slavery. Ages 8 and older.
