Each of the Daniel Boone Regional Library system's facilities is assisted and supported in their efforts by a Friends group. These volunteer organizations raise funds at regularly scheduled book sales to provide the library with additional funds for needed materials and services.
Books for each group's sales come from donations from the public. Donated materials are first reviewed for addition to the collection. If they are not added, they are sold at the book sales.
Those joining any of the Friends groups will receive the library's program guide in the mail and be admitted early to the bigger book sales.
The library accepts donations of gently used books during regular business hours.
