Library-To-Go is a system of lockers to which we deliver the library items you request. Deliveries happen every weekday. When you get a notice that your items are ready at Library-To-Go, you just use your library card to access the lockers and get your materials. An outdoor drive-up book drop installed in behind the building makes returns convenient, too.
“Because of the large number of holds Holts Summit residents place, we wanted to find a way to make using the library more convenient for them,” said Melissa Carr, Daniel Boone Regional Library director. “We've used the locker system successfully in Hallsville and we think it will work equally well here.” The bookmobile will continue to visit Holts Summit two times a month, with its collection of books, music CDs and DVDs for browsing and borrowing.
You can still choose to pick up requested items at the Callaway County Public Library or the bookmobile as well as at the lockers inside City Hall.
