There's a new way to do summer reading for small groups. If you have a home day care, a 4-H group, an after-school group or other small group of kids, why not sign up for Summer Reading together?

Group Summer Reading allows your kids to have a taste of summer reading fun and the encouragement to read, without having to bring them to the library. When you sign up your group you'll get a simplified reading record and activity ideas. Groups who complete eight activities will get temporary tattoos and library pencils.

and the activity booklet.

We'll post the names of participating groups here. Sign up continues through June 30. Finish your activities and turn in your form by August 8 to receive your rewards.
