The Family Impact Center is now accepting registration for Camp Ca-Pow (College Access- Planning Our Way). This free spring break camp for middle schoolers will take students on visits to local colleges while helping them explore future career paths. In past years, campers have visited the University of Missouri-Columbia, Lincoln University and Linn State Technical College, just to name a few.

Camp Ca-Pow will be hosted Monday, March 26-Friday, March 30 from 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Students must be in grades 6-8. To enroll your child, contact Rebecca Mott at the Family Impact Center at mottr@missouri.edu or (573) 882-2428.

Don’t forget that the library carries a wide range of books to help you plan for life after high school including “Get It Together for College,” “Follow Your Interests to Find the Right College” and “Paying for College Without Going Broke.” We also have guides to help you study for the ACT exam. Stop by the Reference Desk at any of our branches and our staff will be happy to help you get started!
