Kidney Health Screening

Saturday, September 28 › 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Columbia Public Library, Friends Room

Are you among the one in three adults at risk for kidney disease, or one of the 96% of people with kidney disease that don’t know they have it? Find out by attending this free screening conducted by the National Kidney Foundation. You can expect an at-risk survey, blood pressure check, body mass index (BMI) measurement, free education materials and, for individuals at risk, an ACR urine test for albumin, an indicator of kidney failure. You'll also have an opportunity to speak with a health care professional about the results. Medical and general volunteers are needed for this event, too; visit for more information about volunteering. Call (314) 961-2828, ext. 482 with questions.

Age 18 and older.

Registration: Not required.
