Later next month, the Columbia Public Library will host a free workshop, “Strategies for the ACT.” Join us on Wednesday, October 16 from 6-7:30 p.m. to learn about the structure of this college entrance exam, the most common traps and the best ways to beat the time crunch. Kristie Beck of Savvy Strategies will discuss each of the four sub-tests on the ACT and provide strategies for maximizing your scores.
This program is for families with children in grades 9-12. Both parents and students are welcome. Registration begins Tuesday, September 24. To sign-up, call (573) 443-3161.
