Summer Reading 2014
The library's Summer Reading program is a fun way to stay engaged in learning throughout the summer. The program is free, and we have versions for all ages. Except for Books by Snail, sign-up begins June 2 for all components of Summer Reading.
Birth to Age 5, June - Aug. 2
Sign up at your library or at a bookmobile stop. Read with your child 30 days throughout the summer and do simple activities like playing, drawing or singing together. Complete the program, and, beginning July 7, you can claim a free book.
You can print our list of suggested books for Little Sparks.
Fizz, Boom, Read!

Group Summer Reading
Child Cares, Clubs, Etc., June - Aug. 2
Sign up at your library, at a bookmobile stop or at www.dbrl.org/summergroups. We've put together a special version of summer reading that's easy to do with a small group of kids like a child care center or a scout troop. When you complete eight of the suggested activities together, your group will receive some free books, and every participant will receive a small reward.
