For the tutorials, please bring headphones or purchase a set at the library.

iPhone and iPad Basics

Learn to navigate your iPhone or iPad while mastering basic functions. Basic internet and email skills required. Bring your device and your Apple ID. Registration begins Tuesday, September 13.

Basic Mac Skills

Learn the basics of the Mac operating system for desktop and laptop users. We'll talk about the essentials of using your MacBook, iMac or Mac mini including Apple's software for internet browsing, email, music, photos, etc., and how to customize your computer to your needs. There will also be time to answer questions. Bringing your Mac laptop is optional. Registration begins Wednesday, September 14.

Learn at your own pace with these self-guided tutorials on the Windows operating system for beginners and intermediate users. An instructor will get you started and answer questions. Choose from Keyboarding, Mouse Tutorial, Basic Skills, Computer Basics, Files and Folders, Exploring the Web, Basic or Intermediate Word Processing, Spreadsheets and Presentations. Google Docs Demystified

If you need to work on a project with several different people or access your documents from multiple computers or devices, then Google Docs may be of help to you. This free web-based alternative to Microsoft Office is an easy way to share and collaborate via the internet. A basic understanding of the internet and a Gmail account are required. Do you have different photos on your computer, digital device and Facebook account? These days, we must actively manage our digital keepsakes to preserve them for the next generation. Join us for tips on managing and protecting your digital documents as well as scanning and preserving hard-copy items. We'll conclude the program with a demonstration of the library's digitization equipment. Registration begins Monday, September 19.
