OverDrive has announced that their legacy app for Android and iOS devices will be discontinued at the end of April. This means if you’ve been using the OverDrive app for accessing eBooks, digital audiobooks and magazines, you will need to switch to the replacement Libby app.
Attention Kindle Fire users: Since Amazon has not yet accepted Libby into the Amazon Appstore, the OverDrive app will remain available for Kindle Fire users to download and access. This means you will not have to switch to Libby by the end of April. If you do want to switch, you can sideload Libby manually.
