Dive in with your child for squishy fun using play dough, goop and all sorts of edibles. Dress for a mess, bring a towel and plan on dropping in for 30 minutes. Canceled if raining. Ages birth-5.

The Beginning Years
Southern Boone County Public Library

Bring your baby or toddler for songs, rhymes and activities. Birth to 36 months. Older siblings welcome.

Youth Poetry Award Ceremony
Callaway County Public Library

As part of National Poetry Month in April, Callaway County kids and teens were invited to submit original poems to the Callaway Youth Poetry Contest. Come congratulate the winners and enjoy their poems. The winning poems will be displayed at the Callaway County Public Library and at www.dbrl.org. Co-sponsored by the Auxvasse Creative Arts Program.

Movies for Me

Hopping on One Foot

It’s like story aerobics when storyteller Priscilla Howe brings her entertaining, engaging stories, dances, stretches and songs to the stage. Her ridiculous hand puppets come along and invite all ages to join in the fun, from the stroller crowd up to the older kids. Recommended for ages 4 and older.
