Located at The Pit Stop [1] (formerly Ketchum’s General Store) in Hallsville, Library-To-Go is a secure system of lockers that allow patrons to pick up requested library books, CDs, DVDs and audiobooks using their library cards [2]. A selection of library DVDs, including some feature films [3] for kids and families, is also available on site for borrowing through Library-To-Go.
Anyone with a Daniel Boone Regional library card [2] can place requests through the catalog [4] and pick them up at Library-To-Go when they become available. Lockers and DVDs are re-stocked daily. You can return items anytime to the drive-up book drop outside.
Library-To-Go was launched [5] in Hallsville, MO on August 30, 2010 as a pilot project. The bookmobile also visits Hallsville twice a month [6], and patrons can pick up holds at those visits, too, or at the Columbia Public Library.
The Pit Stop, 13101 N. Route B [1], is open every day from 6 a.m.–10 p.m.
