Meeting Rooms

The DBRL Board of Trustees recently approved revisions to the Meeting Room Policy. The most notable revision is the time groups may reserve rooms. Reservations will be allowed no earlier than 30 minutes after the library opens and groups must vacate meeting rooms 10 minutes prior to library closing. Due to this revision, we are asking all groups to fill out a new meeting room application (below) reflecting these changes. New applications are available July 1, 2010 and the new policy will be enforced beginning September 1.

Nonprofit groups can reserve meeting rooms for free at the Callaway County and Columbia Public Libraries. Groups may use meeting space only once per month. Reservations will be accepted no more than two months in advance.

Eligible groups include nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and groups engaged in educational, civic, cultural and intellectual activities. Meetings must be held during library open hours and cannot have commercial purposes. The DBRL Meeting Room Policy has a full explanation of guidelines.
