Bridget Canaday moved to Southern Boone County from Iowa with her husband Brian nearly 16 years ago and has fully embraced her adopted hometown. In addition to serving on the library board, she currently serves as president of the Southern Boone School District Board of Education and is beginning her third term on the board of the Southern Boone Chamber of Commerce. Garden gnomes want to see the world, too! Drop in to decorate your own gnome on June 22. If you can’t make it to our gnome-making program, you can still make a gnome to take along with you to wherever you are going this summer. Simply snap a photo of you and your gnome and send us a copy. Then we'll display them at the Columbia Public Library during the month of July. Read more »
