The temporary location for the Callaway County Public Library opens April 1 at Churchill Plaza, 1855 N. Bluff Street, Fulton, near Walmart.
There is a small browsing collection, and patrons can pick up holds and return materials. Due to the smaller facility, the library won’t be able to offer all of the services usually available. Seating is limited, public access computers and Wi-Fi are not available and the library isn’t able to process passports. Library classes and events are scheduled at other locations in Fulton. Book drops are available at this temporary location and at our permanent location, 710 Court St., Fulton.
The library’s open hours will remain the same: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. During the closure, people can reach the library and get connected to Fulton staff by dialing 1-800-324-4806.
Teel Mechanical Service, Inc., a Fulton company, began removing the library’s old HVAC system on Monday, March 30. The HVAC replacement project is expected to take 90 days.
