If you’re interested in viewing rare and hard-to-find classics, independent films and foreign flicks, the library’s new streaming service is your ticket.

This summer, the Library-To-Go in Hallsville moved to its new location inside Prenger Foods.

The finalists vying for the Director position at the Daniel Boone Regional Library (DBRL) will be in Columbia to visit with library staff and the general public Monday, November 13. Everyone in the community is invited to a public forum at the Columbia Public Library Monday evening beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Friends Room.

The library’s online resource Newsbank just added the Columbia Daily Tribune, 1998-present, to their database.

The stairs leading into the Columbia library from the south parking lot are currently closed for reconstruction. The sidewalk in front of them will also be replaced. We anticipate this will take about a month, so we’re hopeful that the stairs will reopen the week of October 23.
