The Comforts of Winter

This year, we invited you to embrace the joys the season holds, including the joy of reading, by participating in our relaxed winter reading program. Winter reading ended February 25.

The Comforts of Winter: A Reading Program for All Ages, January 17-February 25

Participants set a family goal or a goal for each person. Goals could have been a certain amount of time spent reading, a number of books to read or whatever else would be fun to achieve over 6 weeks.

If you completed your goal, we’ve made prizes available at your library or bookmobile stop or via curbside pickup. Each individual or member of a family group can claim a prize:

Children (0-12)Age-appropriate book

Teens (13-18)Choice of book or stadium/picnic blanket

AdultsStadium/picnic blanket

Finishers have also been entered into a drawing to win gift cards from some of your favorite local businesses.
