Since November of 2023, the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has provided the funds to support Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Missouri.
Inspire a Love of Reading
The first book your child will receive is “The Little Engine That Could” by Watty Piper. And, the month a child turns 5, they will receive “Look Out Kindergarten, Here I Come!” by Nancy Carlson.
My daughter loves receiving her book each month. I point out her name on the address label and explain the book was picked out just for her. She wants me to read the book immediately and at least twice! I love these moments. She is so excited to open something that is just for her! Plus, the books are sturdy and well-made, allowing us to enjoy them over and over.
