Come visit the Health on Wheels van from the Columbia/Boone County Department of Public Health and Human Services for free services like health assessments, blood pressure checks, pre-diabetes questionnaire screenings, COVID-19 test kits, health information and referrals to community resources.

Adventure Labs Begin at Your Library

Columbia Public Library, Children's Program Room
Adventure Labs offer a new way to interact with the outdoors! Much like geocaching, these unique scavenger hunts emphasize local history, nature and art with a bit of exercise thrown in. We’ll meet in the library to discuss the basics and then go to the Columbia Cemetery for an Adventure Lab walking tour.
Families, ages 9 and older. Bring a smartphone to download the free app. Please register.

Like the ancient Celtic druids we’ll gather on this summer solstice to watch the full moon rise. We’ll start inside with a slide show on the solstice, the moon and Stonehenge, and go outside for telescopic views weather permitting. Hosted by Val Germann from the Central Missouri Astronomical Association.

Snack and Chat Book Discussion - "Lady Tan's Circle of Women"
