Visiting Your Library During the Pandemic

All branches of the Daniel Boone Regional Library are open. Some locations continue to have limited hours. Please take note of the following changes when planning your visit to the library.

Your Responsibilities

Help us keep our staff and visitors safe by observing these rules during your visit.

  • Face masks are requested for library visitors who are not vaccinated against COVID-19.
  • Group visits, including building tours, study groups and other meetings, cannot be accommodated.

Changes at Your Library

  • Curbside hold pickup is available in Ashland, Columbia and Fulton during open hours.
  • Hand sanitizer is available throughout our facilities.
  • Furniture and computer access has been adjusted to assist with social distancing.
  • Plexiglass barriers are in place.

Suspended Services

The following library services are temporarily unavailable:

  • Meeting rooms
  • Children’s play area
  • In-person events, including story times (video story times are available online)
  • In-person one-on-one tech assistance (virtual tech help is available by appointment)
  • Passport services
  • Test proctoring
  • In-person library tours and group visits

Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Friday & Saturday, 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.

Holts Summit Public Library
Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Saturday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Sunday, Closed

Southern Boone County Public Library (Ashland)
Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Saturday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
