Crafternoon to Go: Bubble Print Gift Tags

The time just changed and ,although it did make that one Sunday feel so much longer, the skies are dark now when I leave work. If you are like me and get the “darkness doldrums” finding something to keep busy with helps. I usually do this by thinking of the holidays and gifts or decorations to make.

Our November Crafternoon to Go kit is perfect for that and also just plain fun — Bubble Print Gift Tags. A little bubble mixture, some food coloring and a straw can make the cutest gift tags. In this kit, you will find the ingredients to make the mixture and a set of tags or use them as stencils to make tags for all of your gifts. You will need a pair of scissors, a small bowl for your bubble mixture and if you are messy like me, some newspaper.

There will be instructions in the kit, but video demonstrations are also available on CreativeBug, a free service through the library. You will need your library card and PIN (your PIN is your birthday in the MMDDYYYY format) to log into this resource. Once you’re logged in, you can just look for the Bubble Prints Class.

The kits will be available while supplies last at all of our locations beginning on November 30. In Columbia and Fulton, kits can be picked up near the reference desks. And you can find the kits at the service desks in Ashland and Holts Summit.
