This science fiction TV series follows Captain Christopher Pike and the crew of the USS Enterprise as they explore new worlds throughout the galaxy during the decade before “Star Trek: The Original Series.” A spin-off from “Star Trek: Discovery,” the series consists of episodic storytelling mixed with serialized character arcs.

Based on Miriam Toews’ novel, this dramatic film centers on a group of women living in a secluded religious community that grapple with reconciling their reality with their faith. Though the backstory, we see a community of women come together to figure out how they might move forward together to build a better world for themselves and their children. Stay and fight or leave. They will not do nothing.
